​PM joins Children’s Rights Day event Collected Image
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday joined an event marking Children’s Rights Day 2026 and the 50th anniversary of the Bangladesh Shishu Academy.
The prime minister arrived at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy in the morning, where 150 children welcomed him.
The programme began with the national anthem, after which the prime minister took his seat with other guests.
Prime Minister’s wife and Ziaur Rahman Foundation Vice Chairperson Dr Zubaida Rahman was also present at the event.
