A three-member BNP delegation met interim government Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Thursday afternoon.

The BNP delegation, led by its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, reached the state guesthouse Jamuna at 3:50 pm, said sources at the Chief Adviser’s office and the BNP.

The two other members of the delegation include the party’s standing committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.

After Prof Yunus was sworn in as Chief Advisor, a seven-member standing committee, led by the BNP Secretary General, held its first meeting at Jamuna on 12 August.
