Belkuchi Correspondent:

Four students were injured in a clash between students and guard of Rajapur High School in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj district on Sunday.

The injured were admitted to different hospitals and clinics. Of them, critical injured Shuvo Sheikh was taken to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

Police and local sources said, the clash erupted at around 11:00, while Abdul Awal, a guard of the school intercepted Azim Akanda, also elder brother of class six student-Sumaya to enter into the school with a motorbike.  The students received injuries, while they were attacked with knife.

Tense situation was prevailing in the area.

Jakaria Hossain, Officer in Charge of Belkuchi police station said, “Police visited the spot and brought the situation under control. But no case has yet been filed in connection with the incident so far.”
