​IGP leaves for France to join 2nd Interpol Biosec Conference Collected Image

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md. Ali Hossain Fakir departed Dhaka for France on Sunday morning, November 1, to attend the 2nd Interpol Global Biosec Conference.
 
According to Police Headquarters sources, the three-day conference—organized by Interpol's Bioterrorism Prevention Unit—will take place at Interpol Headquarters in Lyon, France, from November 3 to 5.
 
Law enforcement personnel, partner agency representatives, biosecurity experts, and academics from around the globe will participate in the summit.
 
The conference will focus on evaluating current and future biosecurity threats, as well as discussing practical and effective strategies to counter potential risks.
