Abrar Fahad, a brilliant student of 2017-2018 academic year in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), fell victim to brutal and cruel torture by some unruly students (then members of currently banned student organization) at Sher-e-Bangla Hall of the university and passed away on October 7, 2019.
On the occasion of the 7th death anniversary of the late Abrar Fahad, BUET has expressed deep condolences to all members of his grieving family.
To mark the occasion, a special prayer has been organized on Wednesday (October 7) after Asr prayers at the BUET Central Mosque in the presence of respected teachers, officers and staffs praying to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul of this prematurely lost and talented student.
