A Bengali rock festival titled “Ghor Chara Ek Sukhi Chele” will be held in the United States to honor the memory of legendary singer, composer, and guitarist Ayub Bachchu.

Organised by DMV Bangla Rock Festival, the event will be held on 7 November at the Falls Church Auditorium in Virginia, USA.

Bands Bibagi, Cronage, Jatt, Shadow Dreams, and Rafi Alam and his band will pay tribute to Ayub Bachchu through performances of his iconic songs.

Additionally, former LRB vocalist and music arranger SI Tutul will take part in the concert, while Swapan, LRB’s founding bassist, will attend as a special guest.

According to the organisers, “Ghor Chara Ek Sukhi Chele” will begin at 7:00 PM (local time) and continue into the night. Each participating band will honour Ayub Bachchu through his music, alongside poetry recitations, discussions, and other commemorative segments.

A special highlight of the festival will be the participation of Bachchu’s long-time collaborators and LRB founding members, Swapan and Tutul, making the evening even more memorable.
