As the allegations of financial corruption, women’s scandal and arbitrariness brought against Abdul Majid, the headmaster of Ullapara Momena Ali Science School in Sirajganj, have been proven true in the investigation, he has been ordered to be removed from duty.

It is learned that Abdul Majid, the headmaster of Ullapara Momena Ali Science School, was previously removed from the post of headmaster in the wake of an incident involving a woman. Later, he resumed his duties in 2024 on the orders of the court.

It is alleged that, after taking charge, Abdul Majid, as before, got involved in various corruptions including plundering money, recruitment business, women’s scandal. Several news-reports were published on The Daily Sky over the issues and his corruption and immoral activities also went viral on social media.

The guardians then submitted a written complaint to the Director General, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka and Rajshahi Education Board.

In view of the complaint, a three-member probe body, on the instructions of the Directorate of Education, closely monitored the institution and submitted an investigation report.

The members of the committee said that, the investigation found clear truth about the financial corruption, women’s scandal and arbitrariness brought against Majid.

In light of this investigation report, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka, ordered the removal of Abdul Majid from his duties.

A letter signed by Director General Professor B. M. Abdul Hannan was sent to the concerned department.
