The interim government’s decision to observe a 10-day vacation during Eid-ul-Azha next month applies to both private and public organisations, it said in a notification on Wednesday.

The government has announced holidays on 11 and 12 June to ease traffic pressures, said the notification issued by Public Administration Ministry and signed by Deputy Secretary Md Kamruzzaman.

In total, holidays of 10 days have been approved, as per the notification.

Private organisations, like public ones, will also have to keep offices open on the two Saturdays preceding the Eid vacation, the notification read.
