Police arrested 12 individuals, including women during a drive at Shahjadpur upazila in Sirajganj on Tuesday night.

Confirming the matter, Shahjadpur Police Station officer-in-charge Aslam Ali said that, an operation was carried out in different areas of the upazila which led to the arrest of a total of 12 accused in different cases including murder, rape and narcotics related offenses.

He also said that, the arrested, whose were sent to Jail through the court on Wednesday, were warranted in various cases.
