Tarekul Islam, Member Secretary of the Health Sub-Committee, stated, “The data from our preliminary list has been sent to district-level committees, chaired by the deputy commissioners, for verification. These committees will review and submit a final report to the Ministry of Health.”

Organisations like As-Sunnah Foundation, Human Rights Support Society, Red July, and others played a key role in gathering data for the list, with additional contributions from individuals at local levels.

Farhad Alam Bhuiyan, a member of the Jatiya Nagarik Committee, emphasised that the work on the list is ongoing, saying, “This is not the final list. The final version will be released later.”

When asked about injuries sustained during the uprising, Tarekul Islam noted that details on those injured are still being verified, suggesting the numbers are likely to rise.

Also present at the press conference were Nahida Bushra Iti, Convener of the Health Sub-Committee, and Nasir Uddin Patwari, Convener of the Jatiya Nagarik Committee.
