Bangladesh reported two more dengue deaths in the past 24 hours, while 330 new patients were hospitalized with the mosquito-borne disease.

A health bulletin, released on Monday (July 14) by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), confirmed the information.

The fatalities were recorded in Chattogram Division and the Dhaka North City Corporation area.

The breakdown of new hospitalizations shows Barishal Division with 86 cases, Chattogram 54, areas outside Dhaka city corporations 48, Dhaka South City 44, Dhaka North City 27, Khulna 27, Rajshahi 38, and both Mymensingh and Rangpur reporting three patients each.

Since the start of the year, a total of 15,210 people have been hospitalized due to dengue across the country, with 58 deaths reported so far, the DGHS statement added.
