Two motorcyclists were killed after a sand-laden truck hit their motorcycle in Shahjahanpur Upazila, Bogura district, early Saturday.
The accident occurred around 1:30 AM at Jora Farmer College on the Bogura-Natore highway.
The deceased were identified as Polash, 33, son of Manik, and Apel, 30, both residents of Gandagram in the upazila.
Police reported that a Bogura-bound truck collided head-on with the motorcycle, which was coming from the opposite direction, leaving both motorcyclists dead on the spot.
Upon receiving information, police recovered the bodies and took them into custody, said Abdul Wadud, officer-in-charge of Shahjahanpur Police Station.
