Twenty-five deputy commissioners (DCs) have been withdrawn across the country. The Ministry of Public Administration issued two separate notifications in this regard on Tuesday.

In one notification, the DCs of Dhaka, Sylhet, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Magura, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Natore, Cox’s Bazar, Chittagong, Noakhali, Gazipur, Cumilla, Moulvibazar, Khulna, and Gopalganj were withdrawn.

In another notification, the DCs of Faridpur, Sherpur, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Pabna, Bogura, Joypurhat, and Chandpur were withdrawn.
