Three leaders and activists of Pabna Jubo Dal and Krishak Dal have been arrested in Sirajganj with Yaba, RAB said.
They are – Rashed Rana, 42, a member of the Pabna District Jubo Dal convening committee and son of Jahurul Islam of Doharpara in the municipal area, Aminul Islam Roni, 45, a Jubo Dal activist and son of Abdul Jalil of Radhanagar area and Abdul Majid Mandal, 48, a member secretary of Sujanagar Upazila Krishak Dal and also son of Sekender Ali of Bhabanipur village.
The three were arrested after searching a bus at Hatikumrul intersection on Sunday morning. At that time, 1,977 Yaba pills, four mobile phones and Tk 20,220 in cash were recovered from them. After filing a case in this incident, they were handed over to Salanga Police Station on Monday morning.
Salanga Police Station OC Humayun Kabir said that, the arrested were sent to jail through the court on Monday afternoon.
