Tangail Correspondent:

Three people were killed and one was injured after a bus hit a CNG-run autorickshaw in Tangail’s Dhanbari upazila on Monday afternoon.

The deceased could not be ideitified immediately.

According to Dhanbari Police Station OC SM Shahidullah, a passenger bus from Dhaka hit a Madhupur-bound autorickshaw at Baghil area of the Dhaka-Jamalpur highway at about 1:30PM.

A CNG passenger died on the scene and several injured. They were taken to Upazila Hospital where two were declared dead by the on-duty doctors.

The bus driver managed to flee leaving the vehicle.
