Sirajganj Sadar thana police in a raid on Sunday night arrested three snatchers from Gandhail village of Kazipur upazila in the district. During the drive, police also recovered Tk1.50 lakh snatched from a bKash agent at the night on January 3. Besides, a knife, 55 pieces of Yaba pills and 80 grams of heroin were also seized by the police at that time, said Humayun Kabir, Officer in Charge of Sirajganj Sadar thana.

The arrested are Ladim alias Sohag, 20, son of late Habibar Rahman, Hussain Ali, 19, son of Alkas Ali and Ripon Babu alias Dipzol, 22, son of Idris Ali of Gandhail village in Kazipur upazila of the district.

Police said, the snatchers took away cash taka and cell phone from bKash agent Abdullah Al Masum of Kuralia village in Sirajganj Sadar upazila on Friday night, while he was returning to home from his shop. Masum filed a complaint with the respective police station in this connection. Later, police conducted the drive and arrested the mentioned three persons.
