A two-day photo exhibition titled “36 July in Frame: Before and After the Uprising” began at Nalini Kanta Bhattasali Gallery of National Museum in the capital’s Shahbagh area on Saturday to keep the memories of July uprising relevant and the sacrificing spirit alive.
Organised by Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, the exhibition was inaugurated in presence of its president Manjurul Islam and Secretary General Zahidul Islam at Sufia Kamal auditorium of the museum at 11:00am.
Chhatra Shibir’s President Manjurul Islam, Secretary General Zahidul Islam, Shaheed Adil’s father Abul Kalam, and Hasnatul Islam Faiyaz, who was arrested during the movement, spoke at the event among others.
