4-5 families took away Tk 2tn from banks: Governor

Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Mansur said four to five families took away Tk 2 trillion from various banks in the country.

He revealed the information while speaking at a roundtable discussion titled ‘Where do we want to see the banking sector’ held in the capital on Saturday.

Ahsan H Mansur said, “They took Tk 2 trillion from our banks. Not many families, only four to five families have looted this money.”
