Out of the total 639 police stations across the country, 634 police stations have started operations after the break. 110 out of 110 metropolitan police stations and 524 out of 529 district police stations have started operations.

On Tuesday (August 13), a notice from the police headquarters gave updated information on the operational activities of the police stations.

After the fall of the government in the anti-discrimination student movement, the policemen were subjected to the wrath of the angry people. Important establishments of the law and order forces and the police stations were vandalized.
