Noted music band Shironamhin has released a new song titled “Keno”. Sheikh Ishtiaque has lent his voice to the song with the lyrics of the team’s leader Ziaur Rahman. Kazi Ahmed Shafin has composed the music for the track. The four-and-a-half-minute-long song was released on the first day of ‘New Bangladesh’ on 5 August. The music video of the project features various characters of the student movement in aesthetic graphics.

Shironamhin also shared a link to the song on their official Facebook page on Tuesday night.  About the track, the band’s leader Zia said, “We recorded the song during the anti-discrimination student movement. The team members are relieved to release the song on the first day of new Bangladesh after its successful completion.”

Besides YouTube, the song “Keno” is available on Apple Music, JioSaavn, Gaana, Amazon Music and Spotify.

It may be mentioned that the group has been supporting the anti-discrimination student movement almost since its inception. Even the members went directly with placards and expressed solidarity with the protesting students.
