This directive will not apply to police personnel suspended due to court orders and criminal cases

The Police Headquarters on Friday relayed instructions to withdraw the order of temporary suspensions handed down to police personnel of all Bangladesh Police units.

This directive came on Friday in a letter signed by Additional DIG (D&PS-1) Belal Uddin of Police Headquarters.

The letter reads, “Withdraw the order of suspension of policemen [constable to SI/equivalent rank and inspector of police rank in case of DMP], who were suspended on administrative grounds in your unit/sub-unit.

“This directive will not apply to police personnel suspended due to court orders and criminal cases.”
