ACC to launch investigations against Golam Dastagir Gazi, 2 others over grafts

The Anti-Corruption Commission has decided to launch an investigation against former textiles and jute minister Golam Dastagir Gazi and two others over allegations of corruption.

The two others to be investigated are former cabinet secretary Kabir Bin Anwar and former member of parliament from Barguna-1 constituency Dhirendra Debnath Shambhu.

Earlier, the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Golam Gastagir Gazi from his Shantinagar home yesterday night (24 August).
