A Supreme Court lawyer has filed a writ petition seeking reform of the secondary school curriculum and suspension of the current curriculum from 2025.
The petition also sought directives to form a probe committee to identify those responsible for the curriculum design.
Lawyer Kamrul Hasan filed the petition in the relevant branch of the High Court in the public interest on Tuesday.
The secretary of the Ministry of Education, the chairman of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), the director general of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), and the secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education have been made respondents in the writ.
