Bangladesh’s mobile internet speed performance ranks below the 100th position on the global stage, according to Ookla’s Speedtest Global Index for April this year.
Despite mobile network operators making improvement in their performances, users still face significant challenges with connectivity. Ensuring users can stay connected even in challenging network conditions, the imo is emerging as a reliable and unique communication platform, says a press release.
The imo’s innovation-led platform excels by offering a range of features designed to optimise communication. Currently, Bangladesh holds the 110th position out of 144 countries in the index, rising up two notches, while it held the 112th position in previous report of Ookla in March.
The latest report showed that the average internet download speed in Bangladesh was 23.83 Mbps. This is a slight drop from 24.59 Mbps reported in March. Allowing users to remain connected with their loved ones regardless of the internet speed, imo brings an all-encompassing platform, introducing features that excel in low internet speeds.
Boasting advanced data compression techniques that reduce the file size of messages, imo allows users to send and receive messages using less data compared to other messaging applications. This feature is beneficial for users in areas with low internet speed, as it enhances the messaging experience without compromising quality.
The imo has plenty other features such as an easy-to-use interface, easy-to-add contacts and many more. However, it is the features like Light, Zero Noise, and 2K HD Video Call that have helped improving the quality of the calls significantly.
“Despite the slow internet in my area, imo allows me to connect with my family effortlessly. The call quality is surprisingly good, and I highly appreciate the low data usage,” said an user of imo.
As imo continues to enhance its platform, to create a platform that connects people across borders and strengthens their relationship through reliable and user-friendly tools, so that users can expect even better service and connectivity.
