Former Rajshahi MP Asaduzzaman Asad arrested

A Correspondent Rajshahi:

Asaduzzaman Asad, former lawmaker from Rajshahi-3, has been arrested in a case over assault and killings during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

A team of the Detective Branch apprehended him from the capital’s Baridhara area, said ASP Imran Khan of the RAB headquarters (media wing).

The former MP would be handed over to the Boalia police station in Rajshahi, added the RAB official.
