A court in Sirajganj on Tuesday sent former Parliament Member of Sirajganj-2 Constituency Jannat Ara Talukder Henry and her husband former Zilla Parishad Chairman Shamim Talukder Labu to Jail after completion of a-seven-day remand.

They were placed on a-seven-day remand in a murder case. Now, they have been shown arrested in two more murder and an-arms cases.

Md. Russel Mahmud, Judge of Senior Judicial Magistrate Court-2 issued the order.

Advocate Nazmul Islam, who conducted the case on behalf of plaintiff, told the media that, the duo accused were produced before the court on Tuesday in a case for killing Sohanur Rahman Ranju during the Quota Reform Movement after completion of their seven days remand.

At that time, advocates of the accused appealed for bail, but the court denied and issued order to send them in Jail.

Earlier on Monday last, RAB-9 forces arrested Henry and her husband Labu from Sonapur Borshijora area of Moulvibazar district.
