After three children and husband, wife Shelly died in an explosion from a gas line leakage in Rupganj, Narayanganj. With this, 5 out of 6 people from the same family died.

Shelly died at around 2 pm on Friday (November 1) while undergoing treatment at the ICU in Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital Dhaka.

Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery resident doctor Dr. Tariqul Islam said Shelly died in the ICU while undergoing treatment with “30 percent burn injuries”. Currently, Munni of that family is under treatment in the ICU with a 20 percent burn injury. Her condition is also critical.

Earlier, two sons Sohail and Ismail and daughter Taslima died around 9:30 pm on Tuesday. Shelly’s husband Babul died while undergoing treatment in the ICU on Thursday morning.
