Land Adviser Ali Imam Majumdar has instructed officials to work devotedly for the welfare of the country following government laws and regulations.

“We must be aware of the rules and regulations of the state. We must dispense our responsibilities properly and timely. We must work for the welfare of the people,” he said while exchanging views in its first engagement with the officials and employees of the ministry at his secretariat office here.

At the beginning Senior Secretary of the Ministry ASM Saleh Ahmed welcomed the adviser with a bouquet.

Additional Secretary (Development) Md Emdadul Haque Chowdhury gave a detailed presentation about the activities of the ministry.

Ali Imam Majumder said the country’s land areas are less than the needs. Crimes are on the rise over the land properties, he said urging the employees not to bow to the powerful persons while protecting the land properties.

Land Reform Board Chairman AJM Salauddin Nagari, Land Appeal Board Chairman Muhammad Ibrahim and senior officials were present.
