Man electrocuted in Tangail

Tangail Correspondent:

A man died after being electrocuted at Bhuapur upazila in Tangail district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Sabur Ali, 55, a resident of Ruhuli village of Gobindasi union of the upazila.

According to locals, Sabur came in contact with a live electric wire while he was cutting grass near an irrigation pump.

Bhuapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Rezaul Karim confirmed the matter and said that legal action will be taken in this regard.
