After the historic win against host Myanmar, Bangladesh Women’s National Football Team went through a full recovery day in Yangon, Myanmar.
The players followed a light recovery routine including a stretching session and pool session to aid in muscle relaxation and physical recovery, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Thursday.
The Bangladesh Eve National Football Team has officially qualified for the next stage of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026 Qualifiers-marking the first time in Bangladesh women’s football history to reach this milestone.
The team remains in great spirits and is now focused on their final group match against Turkmenistan scheduled to be held Saturday (July 5) at the same venue.
Team Manager Mahbubur Rahman Litu said after the vital match against Myanmar, the girls had a recovery session.
“The girls created history by qualifying in the Asian Cup final round for the first time. It was the result of hard work of the girls. We have another match which we are giving the same importance to and we hope the girls will perform better in the next match,” he added.
