A discussion meeting along with Doa Mahfil was held at Shaheed M Mansur Ali Medical College in Sirajganj in commemorating July martyrs.

The programme was held on the 3rd floor of the Dr. Rezaul Islam Gallery of the Medical College on Sunday (July 20) afternoon. More than 300 teachers, officials, employees and students participated in events held under the chairmanship of the Principal of the College-Professor Dr. S. M. Kamruzzaman.

The speakers at the discussion highlighted the significance of the July 24 revolution and remembered the sacrifice of the martyrs with deep respect. They said that, this revolution will be an unforgettable event in the democratic progress of the country.

Dr. ATM Nuruzzaman, Director of Shaheed M. Mansur Ali Medical College Hospital, Professor Dr. Kamrul Islam, Head of the Department of Medicine, Professor Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine, Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam among other teachers and officials attended the programme.

At the end of the discussion, special prayers and supplications were offered for the peace of the souls of all the martyrs of the July 24 revolution and for the speedy recovery of the injured.
