Mirza Mostofa Zaman, Organizing Secretary of BNP, Sirajganj District Unit and also Advisory Editor of The Daily Sky on Tuesday expressed deep shock and condolences over the tragic death of at least 31 persons including teachers and students of Milestone School and College in the capital’s Uttara in a horrific plane crash on Monday.
In a condolence message, the BNP leader revealed that, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic death news of 31 people in the horrific plane crash that took place at Milestone College grounds in the capital’s Uttara. Such a heartbreaking incident has stunned the entire nation. I pray for the forgiveness of the departed souls of each of the deceased and express my deepest condolences to their bereaved families. He further said, “This accident is a big blow not only to the individual and family, but also to the entire country. I urge the concerned authorities to ensure necessary precautions and security measures to prevent such accidents in future. At the same time, I strongly demand a proper investigation into the incident and appropriate action against those responsible.”
BNP leader Mirza Mostofa Zaman called on everyone to show tolerance and humanity in this time of mourning and requested to stand by the injured, if necessary.
