School teacher’s hanging body found in Raiganj

Raiganj Correspondent:

Police on Sunday morning recovered the hanging body of a female school teacher from her resident at Chandaikona Nagpara village in Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj district.

But, is it suicide or murder, could not be confirmed by the police.

The deceased was identified as Kabita Nag, 50, wife of Akash Biswas of the Chandaikona Nagpara village and also Assistant Teacher of Chandaikona Government Primary School.

Informed by locals at morning, police reached to the spot and recovered the body hanged from the grill of their veranda in the house.

KM Masud Rana, Officer in Charge (investigation) of Raiganj said, “The reason behind the dead could not be known immediately. It will be confirmed after getting of postmortem report. However, we are carrying necessary investigation into the incident to find out real fact.”
