Police have recovered the bodies of a couple and their two young children in the Pallabi Bihari Camp area of Section-11, WAPDA, Mirpur, on Thursday.

The identities of the deceased have not been identified yet.

Farzina Nasreen, assistant deputy commissioner (ADC) of Mirpur Division under Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed the recovery of the bodies and stated that authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

Preliminary reports suggest that the man had been struggling with significant financial debt. Investigators believe that the couple’s two children were murdered before the parents took their own lives.
