Pabna Correspondent:

Two unidentified women were killed after being hit by a vehicle in Pabna’s Bhangura on Monday.

According to locals, the accident took place early in the morning in Suhebpara area of Bhangura municipality.

The victims are believed to be around 60 and 35 years old, though their identities have not yet been confirmed.

Locals said the two women used to beg in the area. Their bodies were found lying beside the road early in the morning, prompting residents to inform the police. It is suspected that a speeding vehicle struck in the area, killing them on the spot.

Bhangura Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shafiqul Islam said that the bodies have been sent to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Efforts are underway to identify the deceased.
