A view exchange meeting on upgrading traffic management held in Sirajganj on Tuesday.

The programme was jointly organized by District Administration and BRTA, Sirajganj Circle at Shahid A.K. Shamsuddin Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.

The programme was presided over by Md. Aminul Islam, Deputy Commissioner (DC) in Sirajganj.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sirajganj Sadar (Circle) Nazran Rouf, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Rozina Akhter, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Mamun Khan, Sirajganj Municipal Executive Officer Md. Rafiqul Islam, District Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Muhammad Zahidul Islam, Deputy Director of District Information Office Mohammad Ali, Assistant Director of BRTA (Eng.) Abu Naeem, Traffic Inspector (TI) Md. Asadul Islam, among others, spoke as guests at the meeting.

Leaders of CNG driven auto-rickshaws owners and workers association, political leaders, civil-society members and journalists participated in the view exchange programme.

Speakers at the meeting stressed the need for keeping the district town clean and livable as well as improving the traffic management with the cooperation of people from all walks of life.
