In his speech, Mamun Khan said, “I believe that poor families living in the remote chars of the Jamuna River can become self-sufficient through duck farming. If these small number of ducks are taken care of, their number will increase in the future. They will open up avenues for income and survival. If they can be properly nurtured, the fate of the people of the chars will also change.”
