BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed deep concern over the Israeli attack on Qatar’s capital Doha.

In a statement sent to the media by BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Wednesday, Tarique Rahman expressed strong solidarity with the people of Qatar and Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Thani.

Tarique Rahman said, “We call on the international stakeholders to take urgent action against this military attack and ensure accountability for the violation of international norms and principles.”

He said, “We should prioritize an urgent ceasefire, the release of prisoners and a united stance to protect humanity.”
