With the wedding season in full swing, popular musician Muza has unveiled a new festive track titled “Maiyya”, featuring young artiste Sanjana. The pop–qawwali fusion celebrates not only beauty but also the strength and individuality of women.

Muza shared that “Maiyya” was created with the festive season in mind and stands out for its unique production; his vocals were recorded without reverb to deliver a fresh sound. “We’re often drawn to someone’s looks, but real admiration grows from personality,” he said.

Sanjana, a singer and entrepreneur who began learning classical music at the age of six, expressed her admiration for Muza’s work. “When ‘Bondhurey’ came out, I was living abroad and proudly showed it to my friends – it represented modern Bangladeshi music beautifully,” she recalled.

Directed by Partho Sheikh, the music video features choreography by Ridy Sheikh, who previously collaborated with Muza in 2018. “Everyone’s creativity and confidence made the performance shine,” said Ridy.

Laughing about his dance experience, Muza admitted, “I’ve probably never danced like this before, but I love challenging myself.”

Written by Muza and Badhon, and produced by Muza and Deadbunny, “Maiyya” was released on November 8 and has already garnered over 74,000 views on YouTube.
