Write on knee indicates 3 responsible

Cloud of mystery has blanket around the death of a youth, whose body was recovered from a field near Garadaho graveyard in Shahzadpur upazila of Sirajganj district after three days of his missing.

The deceased Emdadul Haque, 42, son of Aynal Haque hailed from Umarpur village in Chowhali upazila of the district had currently been residing Makra village after making house.

Quoting family members, OC of Shahzadpur thana Ali Aslam said, the deceased went out of home three days ago and did not return. Being informed by locals, police reached to the spot and recovered his body from the mentioned place.

According to his inquest report, there was no injury mark on his body. But the names of three persons were written on his knee with pen claiming them responsible for his death that creates mystery.

Taking the write up as a challenge, police started investigation into the matter. Police believe that, if this was a premeditated murder, the killers may have written down the names of their enemies to divert the police’s attention.

Locals said that Emdadul had been suffering from depression for the past few days after borrowing money from some local money lenders (Dadon Byabosayee) at high interest rates.
