Access to all social media platforms–Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Whatsapp–was restored from Wednesday afternoon.

State Minister for Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak held an online meeting with the representatives from Meta and Facebook, at the BTRC building in the capital.

Senior officials from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), including its chairman, were also present in the event.
