A landmark of ‘Prapti and Purnota’ (Achievement and Perfection) was inaugurated on the hard point, locally known as town protection embankment of the Jamuna river in Sirajganj town on Monday afternoon.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Nazrul Islam inaugurated the installation with the aim to enhance beautification of the town.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, “This landmark is not just a construction, it is a symbol of the identity, creativity and pride of the people of Sirajganj. Such an initiative will take this town further forward.”
Sirajganj Municipality Administrator and Local Government Department Sirajganj Deputy Director Mohammad Kamrul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ganapati Roy, Sirajganj Executive Engineer of WDB in Sirajganj Md. Anisur Rahman, UNO of Sirajganj Sadar upazila Md. Monowar Hossain, Central BNP Executive Committee Member and District BNP General Secretary Md. Saidur Rahman Bachchu, District Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Professor Md. Zahidul Islam and Sirajganj Press Club President Md. Harun-or-Rashid Khan Hasan among others were also present in the event.
It is to be mentioned that, the landmark built under the initiative of Sirajganj Municipality and Rural Infrastructure Development (TR) project has added a new dimension to the cultural and tourism sector in the town. Built in the style of a developed country, this structure bears witness to the modern transformation of the town.
