The implementation rate of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) in the fiscal year 2024-25 has fallen to 67.85%, marking the lowest performance in recent years.

In comparison, the ADP implementation rate in fiscal year 2023-24 was 80.63%.

The government managed to spend only Tk1.53 lakh crore on various development projects in the last fiscal year, against a revised ADP allocation of Tk2.26 lakh crore, according to the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED).

In the 2023-24 fiscal year, Tk2.05 lakh crore was spent from the allocated ADP budget.
