Moklesur Rahman Mamun, Ullapara:

Ignoring all obstacles, Advocate Simki Imam Khan has taken the lead in BNP politics in Ullapara of Sirajganj district.

In view of the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections, Advocate Simki Imam Khan is the most discussed name among the potential candidates of BNP in Sirajganj-4 (Ullapara-Solongga) constituency.

Simki Imam Khan, also a member of BNP’s Central Executive Committee and a responsible member of Sirajganj District BNP’s Convention Preparation Committee, has been playing an active role in running the local political activities.

Meanwhile, she has run her campaigning by using various banners and festoons, which have already covered the hats-Baza’ars and several other important places in the Ullapara-Solongga areas. These banners and campaigns that have captured the attention of the people have revealed her political position, public involvement and democratic values.

Simki Imam Khan, who has been active in the field of politics for a long time, has not only strengthened her position in political struggle, but also in various social and humanitarian activities.

She has become a symbol of reliability standing by the leaders and activists in difficult times, providing them with compassion and courage.

During the period of repression, she has stood by her fellow fighters like a guardian by providing legal assistance to party workers who were embroiled in lawsuits.

She played a courageous role on the streets, risking her life in the ‘March for Democracy’ movement. At that time, her courage and political responsibility provided new inspiration to the party leaders and activists.

Her loud presence on the streets during the party’s movements and struggles transformed her into an uncompromising and worker-friendly leader.

Not only in the political arena, but also in social responsibility, Advocate Simki Imam Khan is not behind. She has become known as a humanitarian leader standing by the educational institutions, religious institutions and helpless people of Ullapara and Solanga regions. She continues to play a role in helping poor students, donating to the medical sector and religious-social development.

She collected party nomination in the 11th National Parliament election of 2018. Since then, she has been working on election-oriented organizational activities and increasing public involvement. She believes, if BNP nominates her, she will gain the victory with the love of people.

According to local leaders and activists and the general public, if BNP nominates an educated, courageous, and clean-imaged female leader, then Advocate Simki Imam Khan is likely to get greater victory for the Sirajganj-4 constituency.

Advocate Simki Imam Khan said, “I have come to the politics to ensure the country’s democracy and the rights of the people. Whether in good times or bad times for the party, I have always been, am, and will be by the side of the leaders and activists. The love of the people is my biggest strength.”
