Advance tickets for long-distance bus travel on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr will go on sale from 3 March.

The decision was taken on Saturday during a meeting of the Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners’ Association held in the capital’s Gabtoli area.

According to meeting sources, the sale of advance tickets will commence on the morning of March 3 through both physical counters and online platforms. Passengers will be able to purchase tickets for any travel date starting from 12 March until the day preceding Eid.

Travellers can select their preferred buses and seats by purchasing tickets through designated websites. Tickets issued on 3 March will be specifically for journeys scheduled from 12 March up to the day before Eid.
