Afghanistan will host Bangladesh in a six-match white-ball series after Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates from October 2 to 14, the Afghanistan Cricket Board announced on Sunday.
The tour will feature three T20 internationals on October 2, 3 and 5, followed by three one-day internationals on October 8, 11 and 14, all to be played in the UAE.
“This tour highlights the strength of our partnership and our joint commitment to delivering world-class cricket experiences, even in neutral venues,” ACB chief executive Naseeb Khan said in a statement.
Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury added: “We look forward to taking on Afghanistan in what promises to be a competitive and exciting white-ball series in the UAE.”
Afghanistan and Bangladesh both are drawn in Group B in the Asia Cup.
