Bangladeshi film “Priyo Satyajit” (Dear Satyajit), directed by Proshoon Rahmaan, and starring late actor Ahmed Rubel, is now available on Amazon Prime. The film was released on the international platform on 15 September.

But film is not available to watch for the audience in Bangladesh. Only viewers in the United States and the United Kingdom can watch it.

“Priyo Satyajit” portrays the journey of a Bengali filmmaker striving to fulfill his unattained dream of matching the artistic caliber of his idol, Satyajit Ray. The film serves as a tribute to Ray during his Birth Centenary celebration.

Ahmed Rubel portrayed the role of an elderly filmmaker named Asif Mahmud, who is influenced by Satyajit Ray throughout his life. On the other hand, actress Moutushi Biswas acted as emerging filmmaker Aparajita, who is also the narrator of the story.
