The audience –acclaimed actor and model Airin Sultana worked in an IT firm in the capital’s Dhanmondi area for three years (2021 to 2023).

At the beginning of 2024, the actor returned to the acting again with the drama series “Smiritir Alpona Anki” directed by Murad Parvez.  The drama is being aired on private TV channel ATN Bangla.

Airin Sultana is playing the role of Tropa in the series. Director Murad Parvez told her to play two characters in the project. But she chose the role of Tropa. Airin-starrer several episodes have already been aired. She also took part in the shooting of this series this month. Airin said that she will participate in the shooting of this drama again on 30 August. In the meantime, she has completed shooting of two TVCs.

About her current business, Airin said, “Right now, I’m busy with multiple projects. Basically, I’m working on Muraqd Parvez bhai’s drama serial “Smiritir Alpona Anki”. I’ve also completed shooting for two TVCs and will start shooting for a new project soon.”

“I have worked for three years in a private company. But acting always attracts me very much. There was no way I could keep myself away from the camera. That’s why I left the job later. Then Murad bhai offered me to work on his new series. I also liked the character of Tropa. Special thanks to Murad Parvez bhai. Thanks to my fans for inspiring me. I also express my gratitude to the media for always supporting me”, the actor said about her returning to acting again.

Airin-starrer last movie was “Kagoj” directed by Ali Zulfikar Zahedi. The film is now airing in Deepto Play. The actor started her acting career with the film “Bhalobasha Jindabad” directed by Debashish Biswas in 2013.

Popular actor Arifin Shuvoo played opposite Airin in the film. Since then, she has acted in a several movies, including “Time Machine”, “Ai Tumi Shei Tumi”,   ‘Chheleti Abol Tabol Mayeti Pagol Pagol”, “Uturn”, “Ek Prithibi Prem”, “Mayabini”, “Padma Prem” and “Akash Mohol”.
