Akshay Kumar made a grand return to the ramp after 12 years as the showstopper for Falguni Shane Peacock at India Couture Week 2025.

India Couture Week 2025 is currently happening in New Delhi, and it’s full of glamour, style, and star power. One of the biggest highlights so far has been Akshay Kumar walking the ramp as the showstopper for designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock. The actor walked the ramp after 12 years.

Akshay walked at the Taj Palace Hotel, wearing an ivory achkan-style sherwani that made him look like a royal prince. The outfit had padded shoulders, shiny gold buttons, and detailed silk thread embroidery.

He completed his look with black sunglasses, adding a modern twist to his traditional outfit. The sherwani had a soft shine and a royal feel, perfectly matching the theme of the designer’s collection.

Sharing images and videos from the show on Instagram, FDCI wrote, “This season at Falguni Shane Peacock India, we channel the opulence of maharajas and maharanis – from palace carvings and lush gardens to emeralds, veils, and regal drapes. Inspired by icons like the Laxmi Vilas Palace and Jaipur’s City Palace, the collection reimagines royal heritage for the modern maharani. An ode to India’s timeless grandeur and the artisans who keep its legacy alive.”

The runway setup was inspired by the beauty of Indian palaces like Laxmi Vilas Palace and City Palace in Jaipur, with classical pillars and greenery all around, adding to the royal vibe of the show.

India Couture Week 2025 started on July 23 and will go on till July 30.
