Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) claimed to have arrested Awami League Organising Secretary Ahmed Hossain and former Chairman of Chittagong Port Rear Admiral (retd) Mohammad Sohail from the capital Dhaka.

Two teams of the DMP conducted raids on Tuesday night and arrested Ahmed Hossain from Rampura and Mohammad Sohail from Banani area of Dhaka, according to the DMP source.

Further information in this regard could not be known immediately, said the DMP source.
